Save the Dates: Appropriations Public Hearings Announced
Connecticut's legislative session is starting this week. With over 8,000 people in Connecticut experiencing homelessness this past year, the legislature must support measures that help people secure stable housing.
Here's how you can make a difference and make sure that everyone in our state has a safe, stable home.
The Appropriations Committee has announced two important public hearings for this month. Please save these two dates on your calendars to testify! Testimony templates will be available following the release of the Governor's budget.
Conservation & Development Public Hearing: Tuesday, February 11 Health Public Hearing: Friday, February 21
Your testimony matters. Make your voice heard! If you've never testified at a public hearing before, we can walk you through the simple process of submitting written or in-person testimony. Email danielle@pschousing.org for more information.
Please show your support for protecting these critical homelessness and housing resources and making targeted new investments to make homelessness rare, brief, and one-time by 2023 by testifying in person or submitting written testimony for the hearings below.
