| IQVIA AI Solutions Providing Insights to Improve Population Health IQVIA, a leading global provider of advanced analytics, technology solutions, and clinical research services to the life science industry and a Healthcare Leadership Council member, has been recognized for its artificial intelligence software which is having tangible benefits in improving population health and identifying patients who need health interventions.
IQVIA was selected as winner of the "Best AI-based Solution for Healthcare" award in the sixth annual AI Breakthrough Awards. IQVIA's software analyzes complex and unstructured patient data to provide unique insight into patient care and disease states, unlocking critical insights for population health, including social determinants of health. In one example, the IQVIA technology is helping clinicians at NorthShore-Edward-Elmhurst Health in Illinois identify and screen 56 percent more at-risk patients based on social determinants, enabling targeted interventions to patients in need.

Digital Self-Triage Technology Will Improve Care Access for Mount Sinai Patients
New York City's Mount Sinai Health System, a Healthcare Leadership Council member, has unveiled digital tools for patients that will enable greater access to care, fast identification of symptoms, efficient online search and connection to specialists, and easy appointment scheduling.
These Digital Experience tools include Check Symptoms & Get Care, an intelligent care navigation system that includes a short questionnaire for patients to self-identify their ailments and a personalized list of telehealth or in-person care options based on their results. The platform uses natural language processing, a branch of artificial intelligence, to translate complex medical data into user-friendly content. It can identify and match more than 300 unique primary symptoms.
