We need your help again! Last year, with your voice, we were fortunate to receive an increase of $3.5 million in funding statewide to serve older adults in Arizona. PCOA, as part of this statewide network received some of these funds to increase rates for care providers. Unfortunately, $1.5 million of these funds were one-time funding, meaning without your help, we won't get them again. This could mean that we will need to reduce either the number of hours of service that we provide or remove people from service.

This week the State House and Senate Appropriations committees are hearing bills to make this funding continue so that we can provide on-going support to those we serve. HB 2528 and SB 1536 would provide $1.5 million of on-going funding to the Area Agencies on Aging to sustain services.

Click take action today and encourage your legislators to not make cuts to the Area Agencies on Aging and pass HB 2528 and SB 1536!
