COE is partnering with Comcast Internet Essentials and NBCUniversal to support STEAM Clubs in connection with the release of Jurassic World: Dominion in Summer 2022. As part of this experience, participating pre-college youth programs will pilot STEAM-based curricula introducing five focus areas central to the film and theme park experience: genetics/DNA, paleontology, and animatronics. COE will select 20 pre-college youth programs to participate in the pilot – five beginning in the winter and fifteen in the summer. In addition to supporting STEAM Club activities, funding will be available for up to 150 students from the selected pilot sites to attend the Comcast NBCUniversal STEAM Symposium at Universal Studios Hollywood in June 2022.
