The FDA has finalized its policy document which was initially drafted in 2017. This policy document–now just finalized–categorizes all homeopathic medicines as “unapproved new drugs” and therefore illegally marketed. This, FDA claims, allows the agency to remove homeopathic medicines, one at a time, for any reason or no reason at all.
As you can imagine, we feel these conclusions are categorically false. With your help, we have held off the finalization of this policy document for almost 5 years, and as we move forward, we mean to help Congress understand that the FDA’s guidance fails to regulate homeopathic medicines in accordance with the law. |n the meantime, please sign up to our urgent contact list (email/text) and consider joining our grassroots team, the Homeopathy Action Team (HAT).
